The Louis Joel Arts & Community Centre (Melways Map 54, G11) is located near Altona Beach, Altona Pier and the historic Altona Homestead that was built in 1858. The Altona Library is close by and across from the Centre is Logan Reserve with its BBQ facilities and children's playground. Pier Street shopping precinct with great cafes and restaurants is only a minute's walk from the Centre.
How to get there
Altona railway station and the local Taxi rank are a few minutes walk through the main shopping precinct. Buses to Footscray, Moonee Ponds, North Melbourne, Laverton, Point Cook, Werribee area are a two minute walk. Car parking is available.
